About Jun Jiang

Almost 40 years
between China
and Europe.

Jun Jiang not only knows Chinese business culture, she also understands how European companies think, decide and work together. That double perspective is the core of China Connect.

Today

Understanding two business worlds, and connecting them

Today Jun Jiang guides European entrepreneurs, business leaders and organisations in China, and Chinese companies and investors in Europe. She has worked with European and Chinese companies, business leaders and business networks for decades, and sits at the table herself when it matters.

It is not only about contacts, but above all about understanding and connecting two different business worlds.

The background

Jun Jiang was born and educated in China. In 1988 she moved to Belgium, where she worked as a sworn interpreter for Belgian judicial and government institutions: the place where she learned to listen to what people mean, not only to what they say.

For more than ten years she led HRD Antwerp's office in Shanghai and built a network there, not at conferences, but by being, for years, the person a Chinese counterpart could call. Roles followed in New York, Johannesburg, Zimbabwe and Shenzhen, among others. In 2017 she founded China Connect.

How we work

Independent,
in both directions

We say what will not work

If your product is wrong for China, the timing is off or the budget too tight, you hear it in the first conversation. It costs us projects and saves you years.

One person carries the relationship

Guanxi (关系) cannot be passed on in an introduction email. Whoever carries the relationship has to be in the room. That is why Jun travels with the groups and sits at the table.

We work in both directions

European companies into China and Chinese companies into Europe: the same skill in mirror image. Doing both keeps us honest about each side.

People who have known Jun for years

Not only arranging meetings, but guiding both parties towards concrete business opportunities and long-term cooperation.

Start here

Thirty minutes.
No pitch,
just a straight answer.

Tell us what you want to do in or with China. You will hear straight away whether it is realistic, what it takes and whether we are the right partner. If we are not, we will say so.
